Everything You Need to Know Before Starting Therapy With Us
Choosing a therapist is an important decision. Whether you’re meeting us in person at our Newmarket, Ontario clinic or virtually from anywhere across the province, you deserve to feel confident, informed, and ready for your first session.
Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions we hear — from how virtual therapy works to how we match you with the right therapist on our CRPO-regulated team.
If your question isn’t here, we’d be happy to answer it directly. Just reach out or book a free consultation.
Do you offer in-person sessions or only virtual therapy?
Both. We see clients in person in Newmarket and securely online across the province. Virtual therapy is often more flexible and accessible, while in-person sessions can be a good fit if you’re local and prefer face-to-face connection.
Is virtual therapy as effective as in-person therapy?
Yes. Research shows that virtual therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy — and in some cases, even more so. Many clients find it easier to open up from the comfort of their own space. We use secure, confidential video platforms to ensure your privacy and create the same level of connection you’d expect in the therapy room.
