Charlene oversees clinician training and supervises our practicum program, ensuring our high standard of care. She supports both clients and therapists in creating lasting, meaningful change.

Hello! I’m Charlene, and I’ve been part of the Kiru Psychotherapy Clinic team since 2018. My role here is pretty special: I get to mentor our amazing clinicians while also working directly with clients like you. It’s the perfect blend of my two biggest passions.

Here’s what I love about therapy: it’s not about sitting quietly and nodding. It’s about rolling up our sleeves and actively creating the changes you want to see. I bring energy, genuine care, and a healthy dose of optimism to every session because I truly believe in your capacity for transformation.

When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll usually find me curled up with a good book and my favourite cup of tea (I take my tea seriously, and frequently!), working on a creative project, exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with my husband, two cats, and our family and friends. I believe that how we nurture ourselves outside of work directly impacts how we show up for the people we care about. I’m excited to work with you!
